Hot Six

Hot SixI just love the Stephanie Plum books, it was nice to visit her again and Janet Evanovich didn’t let me down with this installment called Hot Six. All my favourite characters were back, including Lula, Ranger and Rex. I just love that our heroine has a pet hamster and the addition of the dog is just genius. The plot is excellent with the whodunnit/thriller element working well and rocketing along at a good pace. The only issue is that Stephanie Plum’s bounty hunter incompetence wears a little thin here.Stephanie Plum is a nice character and I don’t want that to change but this is the 6th book in the series, she should have learnt some lessons by now and there is one incident where the reader starts to question the intelligence of the heroine – never a good thing.  All in all it’s an excellent read, jolly and enjoyable, a good 9 out of 10. I can hardly wait for Seven Up.
