Heat Wave

Heat Wave

Well my new book arrived today. It is Heat Wave written by ‘Richard Castle’. I’ve never quite seen anything like it. Created as a tie in for the show the author ‘Richard Castle’ is actually the fictitious character played by Nathan Fillion. The back cover of the book has Nathan in character for the author pic. It’s really fun. Real life writers James Patterson and Stephen J Cannell get in on the fun supplying blurbs for the cover.  That said I was surprised that the book was so slim line, with a RRP of £14.99 I was expecting a bigger read but it’s only 196 pages. I was holding out for a paperback version but it doesn’t look like one is coming out, but I’m glad I waited for the price drop. It’s now £9.99 at Amazon which isn’t too bad for a slim hardback but I’d have been a bit miffed if I’d paid the full price. I’ll let you know how good it is as soon as I’ve finished reading.
