The word in this case being font. I made a start on ‘Dial Me for Murder’ last night but gave up pretty quickly. There’s nothing wrong with the story it’s the font. I like to read in bed (don’t we all?) but the font is absolutely tiny. I then remembered having similar probs with other Paige Turner mysteries. I’m pretty surprised by it, ‘Berkley Prime Time’ is a Penguin print. They are a huge publisher with expertise and must surely realise that the paperback is practically unreadable. I appreciate their attempt to keep the costs down, but not only is the print tiny, so are the page margins. To read all the words easily I would have to break the spine of the book.
Come on Penguin, you can do better than that!
